2020 Ford F-150 vs 2019 Ford F-150: Specifications

The 2020 Ford F-150 and the 2019 Ford F-150 share many mechanical features, including engine lineups. In both trucks, you’ll have the good fortune to choose from a half-dozen engine options. Let’s look at some highlights:

While the 2019 F-150 offers all the same parts, that 10-speed transmission and more advanced engines are a bit more restricted in terms of availability.

Ford F-150 Trim Levels: No Changes for 2020

Trim levels often change between model years, but the Ford F-150 stays consistent from 2019 to 2020. If you shop either model year, you’ll find seven trim levels to choose from: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Limited, and Raptor.

The XL and XLT are workhorses, though the XLT adds key infotainment features into the mix. These trims are the only ones available with all three cabs and all three bed lengths. The F-150 Raptor, meanwhile, is geared toward off-road enthusiasts who want to test this truck’s limits.
