You can find the perfect Explorer from the five available trims: XLT, Limited, ST, Platinum, and the Explorer Hybrid. No matter which version of the Explorer you choose, the large front grille and sleek LED lights give the SUV an eye-catching, contemporary, sophisticated look.

Under the hood of the XLT and Limited is a 2.3-liter turbocharged, four-cylinder engine that delivers 300 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. The ST and Platinum come with a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 engine that produces 400 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. If you choose the Explorer Hybrid, you get a 3.3-liter V-6 engine that pairs with an electric motor that produces 318 horsepower and 332-pound-feet of torque. All the engines mate with a 10-speed automatic transmission for smooth shifting. Rear-wheel drive comes standard on the XLT and Limited. All-wheel drive is standard on the ST and Platinum and is optional on all other trims. When properly equipped, the Explorer can haul up to 5,600 pounds while the hybrid version has a towing capacity of 5,000 pounds.

With three rows of seats that fit seven people, there's plenty of room for everyone. The driver seat is supportive and comfortable, and the optional leather-wrapped steering wheel adds a luxurious touch. Its a breeze carrying supplies and luggage with the 18.2 cubic feet of storage space behind the third row. Fold both the third and second rows down and you get 87.8 cubic feet of storage.
