2020 Ford Fusion

The Fusion comes in four trims including a couple of hybrid variations. The gas models include the S, SE, SEL, and Titanium with the SE and SEL trims offered as a hybrid or the Titanium as a plug-in hybrid. The styling of the Fusion is quite eye-catching with an aggressive chrome-trimmed grille, sophisticated LED lights, and sleek body lines.

You'll have plenty of power to get you where you need to go with four engine options to choose from. Starting with the base S trim, you'll find a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 173 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. Moving up to the SE and SEL trims, you'll find a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 181 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque. On the upper luxurious Titanium trim, a turbocharged 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine with an output of 245 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque sits under the hood. Paired with these engines is a six-speed automatic transmission. When you move on to the hybrid versions of the SE and SEL trims, you'll find a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor that produces 195 horsepower and mates with a continuously variable automatic transmission. A plug-in version of the same powertrain comes with the Titanium and has a larger battery pack for an extended electric-only driving distance.

You get plenty of traction with the rear-wheel-drive system found on the lower trims. An intelligent all-wheel-drive system comes standard on the Titanium and is optional on the lower trims. Enhanced suspension and electric power steering make for a smooth ride with superb handling whether driving on winding country roads or when zipping down the freeway.

Two rows of seats fit five people comfortably with either cloth seats or supple quilted leather ones. The voice-activated Sync 3 infotainment system with an 8-inch touch screen offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. Listen to your favorite playlists through the six-speaker or upgraded 12-speaker Sony stereo system. You have plenty of room to carry luggage, groceries, and supplies with the 16 cubic feet of storage space in the trunk, and you'll find lots of cubby holes and storage compartments throughout the cabin to hold small personal items.

It's nice to know that your Fusion comes with plenty of safety and driver-assist features. Standard across all trims of the Fusion is Ford's Co-Pilot 360 bundle of safety features.
