The powertrains are impressive for a car of this stature, and we feel that the standard powertrain is going to be plenty of power for the average compact car fan, but Ford wasn't content to leave it at that. The ST engine clocks in at a whopping 252-horsepower, and it's going to appease those people who demand power, even if they're driving a small car.
