Over in the Chevy Corvette, there’s just one standard engine, the 6.2L V8 that tops out at just 490 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque capability, making it much less powerful than some of the engines offered in the Ford Mustang.

If powertrain and performance features are important to you, it’s obvious the Mustang takes the cake here, providing up to 760 horsepower and 625 lb-ft of torque capability.

Trim Levels

Now, we’ll take a look at how many trim levels each of these vehicles offers.

With the Ford Mustang, you’ll have eleven different trim levels to choose from—and that’s not all, you’ll also be able to pick between a hardtop coupe or a convertible build.

 

While the Chevy Corvette also provides the ability to choose between a coupe or a convertible, it certainly falls short when it comes to trim level options, offering just three to choose from: the 1LT, the 2LT, and the 3LT.

While the Chevy Corvette offers some driver-assistant safety systems as well, there are not nearly as many as the Ford Mustang provides.
